Modeling Brain Dynamics Through Spiking Neurons

Project Goals

In order to model the brain neuron dynamics, we will build a Spiking Neural Network Simulator (SNNS) allowing:

a) To define specific characteristics for each synapse.

b) To construct relationships between sets of different types of neurons and analyze their interaction.

c) Perform a number of experiments with variations in the parameters, such as the weight of synapses, threshold potential and membrane potential of the neurons, establishing different connections between neurons and adjusting their relationships in order to derive a variety of results.
