Potential Functions and Their Application for Solving Pattern Recognition Problems”, Dr. Natacha Gueorguieva

Abstract

Discussions on determination of decision functions and partition boundaries by use of the potential function approach. Construction of potential functions corresponding to the sequence of training sample patterns. Illustration of the method in two-dimensional space on the base of Hermite orthonormal polynomial functions.
