I am a junior at the College of Staten Island and my major is Information System, which is an interdisciplinary degree of business and computer science. With a cumulative GPA of 3.95, I was included in the CSI Dean’s List for the years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. I additionally won the Charles A. Bavetta Scholarship for the year 2003-2004 and was granted the Presidential and Dean Summer ’03 Undergraduate Research Award “Visualization Techniques and Graphic Tools for Enhancement of Computer Graphic Curricula”. My working experience includes several years of accounting as a junior accountant, for a CPA firm in Rome Italy. In spring 2003, I worked as intern at Troi.Net, a computer-networking company located on Staten Island, as assistant to the business development manager. I additionally work as part-time college assistant at the Modern Languages Media Center at the College of Staten Island, where I also tutor Italian. My personal goal is to attend graduate school while working full-time. Starting from next semester, I will visit potential graduate schools in both the U.S. and Europe to learn more about specific programs and specializations that I have been considering in Information Technology and E-Business.
