Xiaowen Zhang, Ph.D.

Dr. Xiaowen Zhang is a Professor of Computer Science at the College of Staten Island and a Doctoral Faculty Member at the Graduate Center/CUNY. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2007) from the City University of New York and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (1999) from Northern (Beijing) Jiaotong University. His research interests include Cryptography, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Secure Biometrics, RFID Security & Privacy, Information Retrieval, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Wireless Communications.

He is also the Graduate Studies Advisor for Students pursuing their M.S. in Computer Science at the College of Staten Island.
